Order Conversion Service By Cboe

Unlocking the Gateway to Innovation

Contact Us

The fast-moving nature of the Australian markets presents numerous opportunities, and challenges, for Cboe Australia's Trading Participants. High demands on resources from regional regulatory and technology perspectives, coupled with the need to manage both local and global market infrastructures, present challenges building new services in a timely manner.

In response to these opportunities and address these challenges, Cboe Australia offers Order Conversion Service (OCS), an optional service designed to streamline and expedite time to market of new order handling requirements. Leveraging our existing Port Attribute functionality, OCS allows you to request Cboe Australia systems to 'switch on' pre-defined Cboe instructions applied to specific orders under certain conditions.

Benefits of Order Conversion Service

Cboe's proprietary technology, Cboe Titanium, opens the door to extensive features to enhance your trading experience. OCS provides several advantages that can significantly enhance the trading experience with:

  • Simple implementation: 'Switch On' port attribute mechanisms to implement pre-defined order handling logic without the overhead of technical interface message updates.
  • Resource efficiency: As the participant, you are relieved from the burden of developing new trading application features independently - OCS handles it all for you.
  • Minimal latency: OCS logic is applied within exchange systems with minimal reaction-time latency, ensuring trading instructions are executed promptly.
  • Rapid time to market: The ease of setup facilitates swift deployment, allowing you to start benefiting from the service quickly.
  • Comprehensive order handling options: Access the full and expanding range of innovative order handling options in the OCS library, ensuring a wide variety of choices.
  • Granularity: OCS options can be applied at finer granularities to assist with rollout pilots and your internal requirements:
    • Per Order Entry Port
    • Per Symbol in some OCS options
    • Per Account in some OCS options
